PGT rigid-glass systems

PGT glass windows and sliding glass doors.

PGT offers impact-resistant rigid-glass windows and sliding doors for projects that need a different enclosure approach from screened, flexible-vinyl or acrylic systems.

Documented Best Screens project

White PGT Preferred Sliding Glass Door (SGD770).

This project uses PGT SGD770 sliding glass doors in two-track, two-panel and three-track, three-panel configurations. The glass is clear, tempered and laminated insulating impact-resistant glass with EnergyShield Max Low-E—the project’s high-impact insulating, double-pane configuration.

The sliding screen doors use BetterVue screen mesh. Track count, panel count, operating direction, sill, glass package and screened ventilation are selected around the opening and project requirements.

Compare the complete opening

Glass, operation and screens work together.

A rigid-glass project should be planned around opening dimensions, structural conditions, panel operation, desired ventilation, glass performance, screen mesh, drainage and door access. PGT and CWS are distinct product systems and should be compared by the actual series and configuration.
