A system selected for the structure
The best screening method depends on the existing posts, rails, opening sizes, door location, desired sightlines and future service needs. Best Screens reviews those details before recommending a framing system and mesh.
A screened porch does not stop rain or outside temperatures. It creates a more comfortable open-air space by enclosing the openings with insect screen.

The system, rail and post layout are selected for the porch. Existing rails and pickets are not automatically part of ARC or ScreenEZE.
Screening systems, clearly explained
ARC uses a slim perimeter profile and does not include an integrated rail. When rails or pickets appear in an ARC project, they are existing porch components. Extruded-aluminum designs can include purpose-built rails, posts or pickets when selected for that project.
Door position, header framing, swing, crossbar height, pet access and the surrounding screen system are reviewed together.
Mesh selection
Mesh options may include standard porch screen, clearer-view products, tighter No-See-Um mesh, durable polyester mesh, pet-resistant choices and solar-control screen. The selected mesh changes airflow, visibility and appearance.

Raleigh screened porch questions
Often, yes. The screening system may be fitted around suitable existing posts and rails. The final approach depends on the porch structure and selected system.
No. Screen allows air and some wind-driven rain through. If weather protection is a priority, ask whether Eze-Breeze or a glass enclosure better matches the goal.
Yes. Depending on the layout, a pet door may be integrated into a PCA screen door, a compatible storm door or a stand-alone extruded-aluminum framed opening.
