Non-operating Eze-Breeze panels
Eze-Breeze fixed panels (LF20).
LF20 panels enclose areas that do not need to open, including spaces below porch rails, door transoms, sidelights and other fixed openings.
Fixed means non-operating
Fill lower, upper and irregular openings.
LF20 is used where ventilation does not require a moving vent. It visually and functionally completes an enclosure around operable SS10 or 4V60 units and compatible doors.
Above doors
Transom panels
Fill the opening between a door header and the porch ceiling or beam.
Narrow openings
Sidelights and infill
Enclose narrow or other non-operating spaces beside doors and sliders.
Door modification
Existing screen doors
In some projects, an existing screen door can be retained and modified with an LF20 fixed panel. This is not a factory Eze-Breeze door.
Roof-line openings
Gables and shaped openings
LF20 can be fabricated for compatible non-operating gable, triangular or other shaped openings.
With SS10
Horizontal sliders above the rail.
SS10 2-track or 4-track units can operate above the porch rail while LF20 panels remain fixed below. A fixed LF20 transom can also be used above the door.
With 4V60
Vertical sliders above the rail.
Operable 4V60 units can serve the upper opening while LF20 fixed panels enclose the lower rail area and transoms.
Selection details
Coordinate fixed panels with the surrounding system.
Frame color, polyvinyl color, mounting method, rail layout and adjoining units are reviewed together. A fixed transom without screen may have different visibility from a nearby screened operable unit.
