Eze-Breeze / Horizontal Sliders (SS10)

Operable horizontal porch windows

Eze-Breeze horizontal sliders (SS10).

SS10 units slide horizontally and can be configured with different track and vent counts for the measured opening.

Configurations

Select the track and vent layout for the opening.

Four tracks

4-Track / 4-Vent

Four tracks

4-Track / 3-Vent

Three wider horizontal vents operating within a four-track SS10 configuration.

Two tracks

2-Track / 2-Vent

Two horizontally sliding vents for compatible openings, including above-rail applications.

Fixed lower openings

Operable horizontal sliders (SS10) may sit above an existing rail with fixed panels (LF20) below the rail.

Spreader bars

Horizontal bars help maintain frame alignment.

Depending on size and configuration, an SS10 unit may use one or two spreader bars. They help keep the frame square and stabilize the system as flexible polyvinyl responds to colder temperatures.

Two spreader bars: the upper bar aligns with the door header and the lower bar balances the layout.

Completed SS10 installations

This completed enclosure uses white frames, clear polyvinyl and standard screen mesh in the horizontal sliders (SS10) above the rail. Fixed panels (LF20) close the non-operating openings below the rail, and a white Andersen 2000 self-storing storm door completes the entrance.

Colors

Coordinate frames and polyvinyl.

The project library documents white, bronze and black SS10 frames. Broader Eze-Breeze frame choices include white, bronze, black, beige and Pebble Khaki, with clear, smoke gray, dark gray and bronze polyvinyl options.

Related components

Finish the areas that do not operate.

Fixed panels (LF20) can enclose lower openings and transoms. Door options include Cabana doors (CD90) and Andersen 2000 self-storing storm doors.
